Dear Hereford Friends,

My family and I can never find enough words to thank you all for your cards, gifts, CaringBridge posts, and especially your prayers.  These prayers truly led to a miracle from God, healing.  We are extremely blessed to have so many caring Hereford friends. What a great breed of cattle, and an even greater group of people!

Love and blessings, Cheryl Harfst & family

Hereford Youth Plan to Attend "Home Again in 2010"

Hereford youth, their families and supporters, will travel to Indianapolis for the 11th annual Junior National Hereford Expo (JNHE) sponsored by VitaFerm, a product line of BioZyme Inc., July 3-10, 2010.

At the 2010 JNHE, there will be 22 different contests youth can participate in: everything from quiz bowl to showmanship to the Great American Certified Hereford Beef Grill-off. Also at the event, more than $15,000 is typically awarded in scholarship monies to NJHA members.

More than 650 exhibitors from 40 states plus Canada have entered 1,630 entries including: steers, cow-calf pairs, bred-and-owned bulls, junior AI bulls, bred-and-owned heifers, junior AI heifers and owned heifers.

Thank you to everyone who has helped support the 2010 JNHE. The host committee is very close to meeting its financial needs to make the event special and enjoyable for all. There are still class sponsorships and show program advertisements available. It is a great chance to advertise to a captive audience of hundreds of Hereford enthusiasts.
