Make Plans to Go to Fort Worth

The Southwestern Exposition National Hereford Show is January 31, 2011, in Fort Worth, Texas. The host hotel is the Radisson Hotel Fort Worth Fossil Creek. A block of rooms has been reserved in the American Hereford Association’s name for $99 per night. To make reservations, please call 817-625-9911 by December 28.

Herefords Headin’ to Denver

Plan now to attend the Hereford activities scheduled during the 2011 NWSS in Denver, Jan. 13-15. For a complete schedule, visit Hereford.org and the December Hereford World.

If you have a reservation and decide to cancel your reservation, please contact Mary Ellen Hummel at AHA to handle your cancellation. We have a waiting list of Hereford breeders who would like a room at the Renaissance. If you cancel a room online or by calling the hotel, the room is removed from the block and is not available at the block rate for other Hereford breeders. So please help us in retaining as many rooms as possible for this event. To cancel your room, call (816) 842-3757 and ask for Mary Ellen.


Denver Health Requirements Available

Remember, cattle to be shown or sold at the National Western Stock Show in Denver must have a current health certificate, meet health testing requirements and show documentation. For detailed health regulations, visit the NWSS Web site (PDF).
