AHA Seeks New Editor
For the last several years, Angie Stump Denton has lead AHA's communications/public relations efforts while serving as Hereford World editor. This role has been ever expanding and in light of this a decision has been made to divide this role into two positions within the AHA.
Angie will continue to serve as AHA's Director of Communications and Public Relations and focus her efforts on national advertising, AHA's website, social media, the Hereford app, media relations and other communication projects.
The search for an editor is now in progress. The new editor will work from the AHA office in Kansas City.
Persons interested in the editor position should contact Caryn Vaught, HPI production manager. This search is now in progress.
Check the address on your DNA kit
GeneSeek Inc., AHA's official DNA lab, has relocated to a new facility as of April 28. The mailing address on your DNA kit may be outdated depending on when you received the kit. DNA kits requested before May 1 have the old mailing address. You’ll need to change it to the new address:
4131 North 48th St.
Lincoln, NE 68504
Remember to send all DNA kits to GeneSeek, not the American Hereford Association. If you send your DNA kit to AHA the turnaround time is slowed down.
Support the Juniors:

GE-EPD Results Update
If you want genomic-enhanced expected progeny differences (GE-EPDs) be sure to allow for plenty of time for the lab to get the results to you. Do not wait until the last minute. It takes a minimum of SIX weeks to get results after the lab acknowledges the sample, not when it arrives at GeneSeek.
