Danielle Starr-Vice Chairman, is the 17-year-old daughter of Joe and Amy Starr, Manawa, Wis. Starr is attending Purdue University, pursuing a degree in retail management. Upon graduation Danielle hopes to begin a career in visual merchandising and eventually be a buyer while maintaining her herd of Herefords.

Starr has been an active member of the Wisconsin Junior Hereford Association for 10 years, serving on several committees, and is the current president. This was her ninth JNHE, and Danielle has been involved in contests such as team marketing and fitting and in the mentor program.

Starr has served in many leadership roles in FFA and has won countless livestock awards including the Star Greenhand Award. She served on her high school’s student council, played on its basketball team and sang in the choir.
