Scholarships

The Hereford Youth Foundation of America (HYFA) is pleased to announce more than $20,000 in scholarships will be awarded this summer to members of the National Junior Hereford Association (NJHA) to assist in financing their college educations.

Highlighting the scholarship offering this year is a special gift from the Boyd family in memory of the late Charles E. Boyd. Applications for the spring HYFA, NHW and NJHA scholarships are due April 1. All scholarship applications along with letters of reference, transcripts and photos must be filled out and submitted online through the Fluid Review Room

AHA, NJHA Launch Fed Steer Shootout

The Fed Steer Shootout program is an opportunity for NJHA members to gain invaluable cattle-feeding industry education and experience. Participants will have the ability to estimate feedyard performance and carcass merit, and then compare the information to actual performance data.
