National Organization of Poll-ettes
Founded in 1965, the National Organization of Poll-ettes (NOP) is a women's group associated with the beef cattle industry, specifically the polled Hereford breed of cattle. Dedicated to promoting polled Herefords to the cattle buying public, educating future leaders of the Hereford breed and to promoting Certified Hereford Beef, NOP organizes and supports a variety of initiatives supportive of this mission. In addition to traditional programs and activities, NOP continually seeks new opportunities to achieve their mission on both a national and state level.

Hereford Female Sells for $38,000 to Benefit Hereford Youth
A big supporter of beef industry youth made a sizeable contribution to the future of the Hereford breed Jan. 16 at the National Western Stock Show in Denver. Belle Point Ranch and Dave and Mary Ann McMahon and family, of Ft. Smith, Ark., bought Lot 1 for $38,000. All of the proceeds go to the Hereford Youth Foundation of America (HYFA).
